The topic must be agreed with lecturer before detailed research on it has begun. <\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The review should use theories and models set out in the course content and other referenced    source material, and course material and include critical discussion of these from those sources.\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<div>The report should include:\n<\/div>\n<div>Section 1: Your chosen technological topic (Appx 1000 words)\n<\/div>\n<div>a.\tWhy you deem this topic to be of importance?\n<\/div>\n<div>b.\tHow this topic has developed?\n<\/div>\n<div>c.\tA detailed description of the technology used in this topic and what is it used for.\n<\/div>\n<div>d.\tWhat technological platforms and software are used in the topic?\n<\/div>\n<div>e.\tWhat type of business and organisation uses the technology?\n<\/div>\n<div>f.\tHow is it used as a business tool and is this effective? (you may link this to particular industry\/sector\/profession)\n<\/div>\n<div>Section 2: (Appx 1000 words)\n<\/div>\n<div>How does this relate to course content and discussion on the nature of the relationship between digital technologies and both old and newly emerging theories on business and management structures and practices?\n<\/div>\n<div>The above question can be broken down into addressing these two questions with evidence from your chosen industry:\n<\/div>\n<div>Q1: how the organisations in the chosen industry have understood the implications of this technology and altered what they do and how they do it.\n<\/div>\n<div>Q2: The emergence of brand new organisations, built around digital technology, entering a sector and challenging old style organisations who have failed to grasp the significance of that technology.\n<\/div>\n<div>Students are required to choose an appropriate a 2,000 words- technological topic relating to digital and new technologies identified and discussed in the lecture series and write word report review on the themes, trends and arguments emerging about that topic.
