Please write a thematic essay based on The American Dream (2 pages, double-spaced, font 12). How is “A Raisin in the Sun” a reflection of The American Dream? Consider the hopes and dreams of at least 3 characters from the play and how each one wanted to spend the money. Include any conflicts and obstacles that may have gotten in the way. You may also wish to include reactions that other characters may have had in response to each character’s choices. (These responses could have been negative or positive). You will need to include an introductory paragraph with a thesis. (Remember the thesis can found in the last sentence of the introductory paragraph. The thesis lets the reader know what the entire paper is about). In addition, include at least 2 body paragraphs and a brief conclusion. In your conclusion you may wish to restate your thesis and “wrap up” any important details from the play that center around The American Dream.
