You will need to find at least FOUR (4) SCHOLARLY articles and have at least one article which presents an opposing viewpoint.<\/p>\n

In the essay you will pick a side of your chosen subject, make a CLAIM, compile EVIDENCE, and PERSUADE the audience that your side of the argument is the best. Some of the articles should help to prove the CLAIM\/THESIS, and at least ONE article will cover the OPPOSITION and ensure that the arguer addresses both sides of the argument.\n<\/div>\n
Requirements:<\/div>\n
– Essays should be 5-7pages long. At LEAST FIVE FULL pages, and no longer than 10 pages.\n<\/div>\n
– Essays must have an original and intriguing title. Do not just use \u201cArgument\u201d as a title. Untitled essays will not be read.\n<\/div>\n
– Students will need FOUR (4) articles in order to make their argument. These should be SCHOLARLY sources and should have at one that is PRINT. (ALL articles found through the school\u2019s database will count as print). Essays submitted without four scholarly sources will lose points.\n<\/div>\n
– Use standard essay format: typed, double spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman, 1\u201d margins.\n<\/div>\n
