The transformation of Britain’s relationship with the Ottoman Empire, a changing relationship that would lead to the first conflict between the two powers at the beginning of the nineteenth century, and the subsequent beginnings of British imperialism in the region.<\/p>\n

 –  It must cover the content both from the reordering of the ottoman state between 1839 -1876 and britians role in it to the partion of the ottoman empire by the british in 1918-1922<\/span><\/div>\n
– should address and critically analyse a key theme, such as empire, nationalism, society, religion\/secularism<\/span><\/div>\n
–  must incorporate an assessment of the historiography<\/span><\/div>\n
