MLA citations (internal citations and a works cited page)<\/div>\n
a final draft in MLA format<\/div>\n
Because I really want you to explore your own thoughts & feelings about what you’ve read, I’m letting you decide what to argue. You can say whatever you want if you can back it up with textual evidence.<\/div>\n

Keep in mind, this is a 200 level literature class. You are expected to think your own thoughts & express your own ideas. I’m not going to give you a topic beyond “argue a point about one of the readings.” If you’d like to do something a little different, for example, comparing\/contrasting characters from two of the readings, that’s fine. Just make sure you’re arguing something (e.g. Eurydice would be a better wife than Circe).<\/div>\n

Also, please keep this paper concise. This should be a brief essay. Write an intro, tell me in the thesis that Thor is a horrific monster (or glorious, delightful guy, whatever), and then spend the next 3-4 body paragraphs proving that point with EVIDENCE FROM THE TEXT.<\/div>\n
