\u2022 Lunsford and Rusziewicz advise that you should \u201ctry to show how key devices in an argument make it succeed or fail\u201d (99-100). Thus, you should support the claims from your introduction by summarizing or quoting specific examples and analyzing them to demonstrate how they contribute to the effects you claim they produce. \u201cIf you believe that an argument startles, challenges, insults, or lulls audiences,\u201d they write, \u201cexplain why that is the case and provide evidence\u201d (100).<\/div>\n
Paragraphs should be focused around making and supporting their own claim, having their own introductions, support, and conclusions. No minimum or maximum number of paragraphs is recommended. <\/div>\n
