The proposed research will demonstrate the impacts of colonization on Indigenous people and argue that colonizing Indigenous land is still an ongoing process. To help prove this argument, twelve reliable sources will be used to verify and provide examples to support these conclusions.<\/p>\n

The paper will be written on a narrow topic of your choosing, based on the themes\n<\/div>\n
which have arisen in the course. Please avoid writing about the over-representation of\n<\/div>\n
Indigenous people in the criminal justice system, as we have covered that topic in some\n<\/div>\n
detail already. The paper will include an introduction to your topic, a concise thesis\n<\/div>\n
statement, a critical discussion of material from at least twelve (12) sources (previously\n<\/div>\n
outlined in your annotated bibliography), and a concluding argument.\n<\/div>\n
\uf0b7 The sources you choose must include legal cases, scholarly sources such as peer-\n<\/div>\n
reviewed journal articles, books (or book chapters), two of the assigned course\n<\/div>\n
readings, and up to two credible online sources. In addition, please include up to three\n<\/div>\n
sources from Indigenous communities or organizations.\n<\/div>\n
\uf0b7 Your paper will be fifteen to eighteen (15-18) double-spaced pages long; no more, no\n<\/div>\n
