Find one RESEARCH article related to your topic. Refer to the chapters (13-23) in the book for ideas, format, and examples. You may use a chapter that we did not cover if it relates to your proposal. For example, we didn’t go over chapter 480, Historical Research, but if your proposal will be using that research method, then you may choose that type of article. Most importantly, it must be a research article that has all of the categories below. An article from Sports Illustrated would not have this kind of information.<\/p>\n

SAMPLE<\/div>\n
Describe the sample used in study.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
HYPOTHESIS<\/div>\n
What did the researchers say the hypothesis was? What did they expect to find?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
INSTRUMENTATION<\/div>\n
What instruments were used to measure the dependent variables? What was the reliability and validity of the instrument. What procedure was used to obtain reliability and validity?<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
METHODS<\/div>\n
In your own words, describe the research method used to address the research question. Who were the subjects? How were they grouped? What did they have the subjects do? Under what conditions? For how long? What was measured? What was being compared?<\/div>\n

DATA ANALYSIS\/INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS<\/div>\n
Findings – In your own words discuss the major findings and results. How were the data analyzed? How useful or significant were the findings? (what did the author(s) say about it?)<\/div>\n
