Following are two sources of<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">data<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">\u00e2\u20ac\u201c<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">UCI Machine Learning Repository<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\"><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ics.uci.edu\/ml\/datasets.php\">https:\/\/archive.ics.uci.edu\/ml\/datasets.php<\/a> <\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Kaggle<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kaggle.com\/datasets\">https:\/\/www.kaggle.com\/datasets<\/a> <\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Data<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Analysis:<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Teams can use any software (e.g., MS Excel, R, Python, IBM SPSS, etc.) to<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">analyze their data. Any analysis method (e.g., regression, classification,<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">time<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">series analysis,<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">etc.)<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">that is appropriate for the dataset and<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">the problem is acceptable.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Final Project<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Report<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">:<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Each team will submit a report that discusses the aspects mentioned below.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Report page size should be Letter (8.5\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd X 11\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd) with 1\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd margins all around; font should be Times<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">New Roman 12 pt. single spaced; and maximum page limit for the report is 8 pages. Tab<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">les, graphs,<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">and visualizations should be<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">numbered and<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">near the text that describes them.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Following<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">are<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">some of the aspects each team needs to<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">include in the report<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">\u00e2\u20ac\u201c<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">I.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Introduction to the problem: A brief discussion on the specific real<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">world problem the te<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">am<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">is trying to solve.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">II.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Introduction to the dataset<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">: A brief description of the data source and the data collection<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">process.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">A<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">n<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">explanation of how the dataset relates to the real<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">world problem.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Explanation<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">of any steps taken to prepare the data for analysis<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">III.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Explanation of the variables<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">: Definitions and discussions on each variable in the dataset.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">IV.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Analysis method: Description of the method used to analyze the data. Justification of the<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">method used to analyze the data (i.e., how the chosen method solve<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">s<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">the real<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">world<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">problem).<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">V.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Descriptive statistics: Discussion on the descriptive statistics for each variable.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">VI.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Results of the analysis: Discussion on the results of the analysis.<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">VII.<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">Decisions\/recommendations: What decisions\/recommendations can be made based on<\/span> <span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">the<\/span><br \/><span class=\"textLayer--absolute\">results of the analysis.
