The primary goal of a professional nurse remains the same: to be the client&#8217;s advocate and provide optimal care on the basis of evidence obtained through research\u00e2\u20ac\ufffd (Tingen, et al.).<\/p>\n<li>The nursing research study article must have been published within the last 7 years and written by nurses in medical\/surgical clinical practice.<\/li>\n<li>The following are some of the journals available:<\/li>\n<p>Professional Journals<\/p>\n<p>American Journal of Nursing (AJN)<\/p>\n<p>Geriatric Nursing<\/p>\n<p>RN Med\/Surg Nursing<\/p>\n<p>Nursing 20__<\/p>\n<p>Evidenced Based Nursing<\/p>\n<p>Nursing Research<\/p>\n<li>The student group will present the study in a 15-minute oral report using Power Point, describing the research they have discovered, including the following questions:<\/li>\n<p>a. An introduction to research article:<\/p>\n<li>What is the purpose of this research study? Will it answer a need in practice?<\/li>\n<li>Describe the literature review. What is already known, available?<\/li>\n<p>b. Submit a type-written reference page with all references used in APA format.
