Any other pathogen is acceptable<\/b><\/div>\n<div><b><br \/><\/b><\/div>\n<div><b>Part 1: Design and develop slides that are suitable for a short, 7-8 minute presentation (8-12 slides)<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>-Identify any other pathogen (virus, bacteria, parasite) with an approved vaccine available, and present information about them. The presentation should demonstrate knowledge of the immune response, such as the immune cells and\/or proteins discussed in the course.\n<\/div>\n<div>-Develop slides (using a tool like Powerpoint) (8-12 slides)\n<\/div>\n<div>-Craft slides to include engaging and attractive visuals\n<\/div>\n<div>-Use a font size that is large enough to be comfortably read on the screen\n<\/div>\n<div>-Avoid colours and design elements that are distracting\n<\/div>\n<div>-Be concise and do not include large amounts of text on each slide\n<\/div>\n<div>-Number each slide at the bottom right hand corner\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Part 2: Write a script for your presentation (1.5-2 pages, single-spaced)<br \/>\n<\/b><\/div>\n<div>-What will you say during the presentation? This is an opportunity to write a clear, informative script. In other words, the script will be written as descriptions of each of the slides in the presentation.\n<\/div>\n<div>-Include the slide numbers in your script so we know which slides you will be talking about. For example, \u201cSlide 1: Next, I will discuss\u2026\u201d The slide numbers in the script should correspond to the number on the slides.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Slide requirements:<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Title slide that includes: Title of your presentation, Your Full name, Course code, Due date of the assignment\n<\/div>\n<div>Each slide should be numbered\n<\/div>\n<div>In-text citations in the slides are NOT required. You can reference information\/images by adding these reference to the reference list in the Script.\n<\/div>\n<div>File should be submitted as a .PDF file<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Script requirements:<br \/>\n<\/b><\/div>\n<div>Title page that includes: Title of your presentation, Your Full name, Course code, Due date of the assignment\n<\/div>\n<div>Length: 1.5 to 2 pages, single-spaced (excluding title page and reference list)\n<\/div>\n<div>Font: Times New Roman\n<\/div>\n<div>Font size: 12\n<\/div>\n<div>Spacing: single-spaced (entire document)\n<\/div>\n<div>1-inch (2.54 cm) margins\n<\/div>\n<div>Reference list at the end of the document, with in-text citations within the script\n<\/div>\n<div>File should be submitted as a .doc, .docx, or .PDF file\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>Referencing<\/b>:\n<\/div>\n<div>You may use any academic referencing style (i.e. APA, MLA, etc.) of your choice to format in-text citations and references, as long as the referencing style is used consistently and correctly\n<\/div>\n<div>In-text citations and an accompanying reference list must be included. It demonstrates a thorough understanding of the immune response, including immune cells and\/or proteins from the course.
