Thesis: you need to cite some evidence that it can generate new ideas, as we just looked at a paper this week that shows that these large language models are incapable of producing ideas.<\/div>\n
The note about chatgpt replacing literature needs sources as well. Theory surrounding “mechanical (re)production of art” goes back well over 125 years so you can research this as well.<\/div>\n
Don’t lead paragraphs with references.<\/div>\n
Be careful with anachronism (i.e. your paragraph on p4 suggests that Lee was discussing ChatGPT, which he couldn’t be – watch your phorasing).<\/div>\n
P5 – what’s the point of “changing already published works of literature” – why would anyone bother, and how would this affect the existing printed texts?<\/div>\n
P6 – what’s your evidence that ChatGPT can make better books than humans? Again, it doesn’t have the capacity to produce ideas – it’s just a language colocation engine.<\/div>\n

Paper just needs more research – look for articles that focus on the limitations of this technology: there are a lot of articles, and a lot of limitations. Right now this reads like the research was limited to inquiries about why it’s world changing, written by people who are trying to sell it. Read your sources critically – when a source says “maybe one day this could happen” keep in mind that the source is also saying “today this can’t happen and we don’t know that it ever will.”<\/div>\n
