Students should spend at\n<\/div>\n<div>least three hours volunteering\/working with or on the community issue. This project will require\n<\/div>\n<div>a presentation as part of it.\n<\/div>\n<div>Use Library&#8217;s DEC300 Research Guide for your research.\n<\/div>\n<div>Note: The presentation must be uploaded into both the Taskstream Assignment and the Moodle\n<\/div>\n<div>dropbox.\n<\/div>\n<div>Activity Instructions\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Choose an issue: In past Tiffin University core courses, you have been examining\n<\/div>\n<div>community problems. You can continue to research that problem or choose something\n<\/div>\n<div>new.\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Develop the project: See your annotated bibliography (from DEC 200 or DEC 250)\n<\/div>\n<div>along with your research notes and other assignments from the rest of this term.\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Assemble research: Collect information on your issue. You can use your research\n<\/div>\n<div>sources from past courses (Tiffin University core courses and major courses) as well as\n<\/div>\n<div>the interview from this semester and any other new information you have found.\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Complete the project: Remember that the goal of this project is to present two sides of\n<\/div>\n<div>an issue equally so that your audience can make their own decisions, despite your own\n<\/div>\n<div>opinions.\n<\/div>\n<div>Writing and Submission Requirements\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Create or include Video\/Audio components to your Powerpoint presentation\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 10-12 slides (Including Introduction and Conclusion Slides)\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Presentation must be at least 8 minutes and no more than fifteen minutes in length.\n<\/div>\n<div>\uf0b7 Students must use a minimum of 10 outside resources.
