This Research Presentation: Part 4 \u2013 Narrated PowerPoint Assignment is expected to be completed in PowerPoint and be narrated (your voice describing the content). Your narration <\/span>should not be read from a script, but rather you are expected to narrate it as if you were giving a <\/span>presentation live at a conference or in the classroom setting. <\/span>Please include the following slides in your Research Presentation: Part 4 \u2013 Narrated<\/span><\/div>\n
PowerPoint Assignment:<\/div>\n
– Introductory slide that tells the audience the purpose of the presentation and the topic that will be explored.<\/span><\/div>\n
– Slide(s) describing the current state of the research in your area. This will include discussion of relevant concepts and studies, as well as what the overall conclusions on <\/span>your topic are currently.<\/span><\/div>\n
– Slide(s) describing a biblical discussion of your topic. This should include Scripture and ways to examine\/understand the constructs being reviewed.<\/span><\/div>\n
– Slides(s) describing gaps in the research that need to be studied further (which leads into your proposed study).<\/span><\/div>\n
– Slides(s) describing a proposed study that would further the research in this area. This discussion of a proposed study should include the following:<\/span><\/div>\n
o  Purpose of the proposed study.<\/div>\n
o  Proposed Research Questions of the proposed study.<\/div>\n
o  Proposed Method to collect data to answer the research questions (including a description of participants, measures to be used, interventions\/experimental <\/span>manipulations employed, interview questions asked (if qualitative), etc.).<\/span><\/div>\n
o  How the findings from this study would further the research area.<\/div>\n
– Concluding slide that provides a summary and conclusion to your presentation.<\/div>\n
– References slide(s).<\/div>\n
The Research Presentation: Part 4 \u2013 Narrated PowerPoint Assignment should be clear and<\/div>\n
include information on the slides that helps the audience follow the argument made in your<\/div>\n
narration. Also, transitions between slides should be made in a way that helps guide the audience<\/div>\n
along the argument you are making for your research area. As you are preparing this Research<\/div>\n
Presentation: Part 4 \u2013 Narrated PowerPoint Assignment, imagine you have been asked to give a talk on the current state of the research topic and how to further the research area. Your <\/span>presentation is expected to be 30-45 minutes in length.<\/span><\/div>\n
