Since our focus is on antiblackness, you should choose an incident that relates to the term as defined in Anthony Farley\u2019s essay, \u201cToward a General Theory of Antiblackness\u201d<\/div>\n<div>Describe the incident that you can recall and connect to whatever aspect of Farley\u2019s essay best relates. Feel free to use Farley\u2019s language to help you with your description\u2014make sure to quote appropriately.<\/div>\n<div>Reflect on your description and show how your personal definition of antiblackness has emerged as a result. Reference at least one other reading from class in your reflection.<\/div>\n<div>The assignment should be 3-5 pages in length. Use 1 inch margins and 12 point font (I prefer Times New Roman). Double-space your work but do not leave an extra space between paragraphs. Please format as a continuous essay with your incident taking up not more than two pages.<\/div>\n<div>Make sure to proofread your work to ensure that you present a polished assignment.
