Make a recommendation for applying the CPG in a clinical setting.<\/div>\n<div>Assignment &amp; Rubric<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I. Locate a CPG for an area of your interest. In references list complete bibliographic<\/div>\n<div>information and the specific link to the CPG. (The link should take you directly to the CPG).<\/div>\n<div>The CPG should be current having been updated in last 10 years.<\/div>\n<div>II. Complete the Rapid Appraisal of a CPG (Appendix B11). Discuss the appraisal in narrative<\/div>\n<div>using the headings from rapid appraisal\u2014Credibility and Applicability\/Generalizability.<\/div>\n<div>III. Describe a situation where the CPG could be implemented. State a) the Problem, b)<\/div>\n<div>use\/application, and c) desired outcome\/evaluation.<\/div>\n<div>IV. Summarize the Appraisal\/Application with main points and your final recommendation.<\/div>\n<div>V. Length of paper is approximately 5 pages, not counting title page, references. Also attach<\/div>\n<div>the CPG (pdf) and completed B11 form.<\/div>\n<div>Rubric:<\/div>\n<div>Component Points<\/div>\n<div>Introduction: Introduce the CPG for your clinical setting\/problem and state why you<\/div>\n<div>selected it. Describe why it is important to health care and advanced nursing practice.<\/div>\n<div>10<\/div>\n<div>Search strategy: Locate appropriate CPG from a reliable source; direct link to the CPG is<\/div>\n<div>included in reference list. Describe database used (Trip, Up-to-date, etc.) and how you<\/div>\n<div>narrowed your search.<\/div>\n<div>10<\/div>\n<div>Rapid Appraisal: Discuss the findings for Credibility, and Applicability\/Generalizability 30<\/div>\n<div>Application: Give an example of how you would apply the CPG to a clinical situation\/setting,<\/div>\n<div>including Problem, Use, and Evaluation<\/div>\n<div>30<\/div>\n<div>Summary Recommendation: List Key Points and your recommendation on using this CPG 10<\/div>\n<div>Written Presentation: Adheres to APA guidelines and represents scholarly work. 10<\/div>\n<div>Total: 100<\/div>\n<div>Reference: Melnyk, B.
