In this case, we want you to make an argument for a particular proposition backed up <\/span>with appropriate references. While counterarguments can obviously be made, we want you to:

1. state your case strongly, making a consistent argument; and
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
2. then be prepared to defend it during the conference and
\n<\/span><\/div>\n
3. use the position to engage with other people’s papers.

In your conference paper,

1. state why what you say is the case, or why it should be the case;

2. comment on how your paper fits within your chosen stream, and
