It can be anything you like (trauma and risk groups, refugees, traumatic event in your country, other topic that you are interested in).\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tBy March 31st, you have to register your topic at Moodle and get the approval from the lecturer.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tIf you do not prepare the presentation, you cannot have an exam.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tPreparing and presenting is an individual work.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tThe duration of presentation is 10-15 minutes.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tMain parts of the presentation should look like that:\n<\/div>\n<div>o\tintroduction (why this topic is important, what you are going to present);\n<\/div>\n<div>o\tmethods (who the participants are, how they are assessed);\n<\/div>\n<div>o\tresults and discussion (what the results of the study are, what they mean).\n<\/div>\n<div>IMPORTANT Do not use disturbing images, videos or something familiar in your presentation, because some viewers may find it stressful to watch!\n<\/div>\n<div>How to search for a scientific papers?\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tThink of a topic that you are interested in.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tThink of the key words that describes your topic the best.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tWrite them to the chosen databases. They are: Web of Science, Scopus, PsychNet, PubMed. You can also use Google Scholar. Also look at journals: European Journal of Psychotraumatology, Journal of Traumatic Stress, Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tThe paper has to be good and reliable. It means that the journal where it is published has to be good and reliable.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tFor checking the quality of the journal where the paper is published, go to www.scimagojr.com or https:\/\/www.scopus.com journal must be of the level Q1 or Q2.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tAlso, the paper shouldn\u2019t be older than 10 years.\n<\/div>\n<div>&#8211;\tYou can also use books, related to your topic.\n<\/div>\n<div>Don\u2019t forget that one of your tasks of the course is to write an essay.
