This is a paper for a master&#8217;s level class in music history at a music conservatory.  I have the opportunity to choose any topic whatsoever regarding music in England in the 17th and\/ or 18th centuries.  I thought this one might be less musicologically technical than some of the other topics I could think of. <\/p>\n<p>We should consult and cite a number of period and contemporary sources on the subject.  A five minute search just now turned up a bunch of great information, even in the Encyclopedia Brittanica.<\/p>\n<p>A background in classical music would be very helpful in writing this paper.<\/p>\n<p>If this is successful, I would commission you to take the same subject and apply it to France in the same period.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi!
