Using the critical material already assigned (at least three sources) and at least three other sources that you research, write an essay that addresses the \u201cduality\u201d in humankind. Cohen\u2019s \u201cMonster Culture (Seven Theses)\u201d would be a good place to start (you may want to check Cohen\u2019s endnotes for avenues of research). You can address any issues we have discussed this semester or if you have any ideas of a different direction you would like to pursue please email me for approval. However, the main point of your essay should address the dual aspect of human nature.<\/p>\n<div>Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to synthesis assigned readings into an argument of definition directly addressing the depiction of duality.<\/div>\n<div>Grading Rubric:<\/div>\n<div>Argument of Definition Excels Meets Needs Comments<\/div>\n<div>Expectations Improvement<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br \/>\nIntroduction<\/div>\n<div>Does the introduction set the tone and purpose for the essay?<br \/>\nThesis<\/div>\n<div>Is the thesis clear? Does the author supply examples of how the works under consideration contribute to discourse on the dual nature of humanity?<br \/>\nEvidence<\/div>\n<div>Are specific examples provided as evidence? Does discussion of the evidence include necessary descriptive information? Are direct quotes used effectively and sparingly?
