The paper should include all of the key elements of a <\/span><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: var(--color-1); font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit;\">research paper, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent; color: var(--color-1); font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit;\">Introduction \u2013 framing the research question with a compelling argument substantiated by a&nbsp;<\/span>literature review;<\/li>\n<li>Methodology \u2013 describing the model framework, data inputs, scenario matrix, limitations, etc.;<\/li>\n<li>Results \u2013 An overview of key outputs from the model (be judicious about discussing results that contribute to your narrative; this likely means not describing all of your results);<\/li>\n<li>Conclusions \u2013 What do your results mean, particularly for decision-makers who are considering the most impactful decarbonization actions.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Discussion \u2013 Put your conclusions into the broader context, perhaps by referring back to the key arguments that you made in the introduction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>You don&#8217;t have to strictly follow the above outline.<\/div>\n<div><b style=\"background-color: transparent; color: var(--color-1); font-variant-ligatures: inherit; font-variant-caps: inherit;\">The most important thing is to express your understanding of the MESSAGEix Model in the text!
