The Impact of Covid The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to these issues, creating more dangerous workplace conditions and exhausted and overworked nurses. Healthcare providers have also been challenged to adapt to new treatment and vaccination protocols in attempts to stem the spread of this novel virus. A 2021 survey from Trusted Health found that 46% of nurses say their commitment to nursing has waned. Meanwhile, Mental Health America reported that nurses have higher exposure to COVID-19 and are more likely to feel tired than other healthcare professionals.\n<\/div>\n

COVID -19 has altered many plans in the health system affecting tremendously US nurses career plan. Statistics are showing in the last past two years that nurses are planning to leave the workforce or change their career. This pandemic has been affecting and triggering further mental health and challenges among Nurses. The number of patients and lack of personal are making nurses job every day more difficult and stressful for nurses. Education system and nursing schools has been affected, many nursing schools turned away more than 91,000 qualified applicants due to the lack of faculty, education space, and resources. In addition, most nurses have decided to retire early due to the physical and emotional demands. The demand for nurses has only increased, causing many to burn out and leave to maintain their physical and mental health.\n<\/div>\n
