There should also be notes on the notes portion of the slide, a transcript attached to the post, or closed caption use for the PowerPoint.\n<\/div>\n<div>For the second part, for your assigned peer you will attach the Peer Review template to the discussion board as a reply to your colleague&#8217;s presentation, AND you are to offer another peer of choice a compliment with depth and examples.\n<\/div>\n<div>Part 1:  submit your Oral Presentation with PowerPoint (5-7 minutes total)\n<\/div>\n<div>Please submit your oral Presentation with PowerPoint by attaching or embedding your work to the discussion box.\n<\/div>\n<div>1.\tIn the discussion box please identify your PICOT question and introduce your research topic to include why it is important to you.\n<\/div>\n<div>2.\tPlease make your Oral Presentation PowerPoint a slide show, not a click by click show\n<\/div>\n<div>3.\tYour oral Presentation should provide a brief overview of your systematic review by\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tIntroducing yourself\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tRe-stating your PICOT question\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tIdentifying the relationship between the research problem and the value of your research\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tStating the results of your analysis of findings, which strategy more effective, the intervention strategy, the comparison strategy, or neither and explain why.\n<\/div>\n<div>4.\t And your presentation should introduce your peers to a nurse-sensitive quality marker, explaining the importance the measuring of this data has in assessing quality of care.  The nurse-sensitive quality marker may be related to your PICOT question, may be one your unit monitors, may be one your unit could begin to monitor, or may be one of interest.  Questions to address when introducing the nurse-sensitive quality marker: why is this nurse-sensitive quality marker important?  does it tie to your PICOT question? if so, how? if not, why did you select this nurse-sensitive quality marker? OR is your unit monitoring nurse-sensitive quality marker?  how is\/would data collected? how often is\/would data collected? who is part of the assessment team?  what is your role as an RN in addressing a nurse-sensitive quality marker? how does or could this data impact your unit&#8217;s function? how do you see this nurse-sensitive quality marker effecting practice and\/or future research?\n<\/div>\n<div>5.\tType up a &#8221;transcript&#8221; using the notes page of the PowerPoint slide OR attach a transcript to the discussion box OR if your oral Presentation has closed caption on the screen, you do not need to create a transcript. This is one pathway to create equity of learning.\n<\/div>\n<div>6.\tWhen you have attached or embedded the required files, select the &#8220;Post&#8221; button at the bottom of the page.\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tYou can create your presentation by adding narration to your PowerPoint slides or by using a screencast tool to create a video (such as the blue V in the tool bar which allows you to embed Kaltura media, Kaltura Capture, QuickTime Player, Screencastomatic or Screencastify).\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tPLEASE create a continuous, narrated presentation, not a click-by-click presentation.\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tEmbed\/upload your presentation in the discussion box, attach your transcript if needed.  Do not put the transcript in the dialogue box as this will create a very lengthy discussion board. You can also use the notes page to the PowerPoint slides or if you have a closed caption option, you can use this, rather than the transcript.\n<\/div>\n<div>\u2022\tWhen you have attached or embedded all the required files, select the &#8220;Post&#8221; button at the bottom of the page.\n<\/div>\n<div>If you have not submitted your initial posting by the due date\/time, you will earn no points for the assignment.
