Part 1 – Defining the Health Problem<\/p>\n

The state of health care in the United States is such that costs are sky-high; those who have health insurance get it through their employer, or it can be purchased at a premium that is somewhat commensurate with income. Solving problems is a big part of the administrative work in health care.<\/div>\n
For your Capstone Project at the center of this course, you are to develop a health care program that addresses an evident need in a community. The project will be completed in 5 parts.<\/div>\n

In this part, you progress to Part 2 of your Capstone Project, in which you further develop the program you conceived in Part 1 based on an identified health care need in a community.<\/div>\n
Part 2 begins the planning of strategic, operational, and financial decisions of starting and running such a program, including goal development, facility, and staffing, and performing a SWOT analysis to determine the potential risks and opportunities of the proposed program.<\/div>\n
