Write a 3-5 page, double-spaced paper addressing: What are some factors contributing to mental health concerns & instability in today’s emerging adults? And how can acknowledging, talking about, and working through these concerns benefit emerging adults?
The topic and paper discussion must relate to young adults in some meaningful way. This can be an in-depth exploration in which you discuss various aspects of a topic or a “thesis-style” paper in which you present a perspective of a particular topic and support your argument.
• Must use 12-point, Times New Roman font
• These will be graded on a 50-point scale and must include the following sections using section headers:
o An intro (10 points) of your question/topic and brief background information that sets up the premise of your paper. The intro should clearly state your topic, why it is an important/relevant topic to explore and provide some background that sets up the upcoming discussion.
o An organized discussion (25 points) of your topic during which you explore and discuss various aspects of your topic using at least five sources of any type to support your discussion (cited throughout discussion). A biography can be written in any format, but all sources must be cited.
o A summary conclusion (10 points) that first summarizes the main points discussed in your paper and then provides key applicable takeaways, implications, next steps, etc. A simple summary without “so what?” conclusions won’t suffice.
o General format, readability, structure, grammar/spelling: (5 points) These are “formal” writing assignments that should be written clearly, structured, and organized.
