DIVERSITY IN THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY
You will be writing a research paper on a topic of your choosing (MUST be approved by Professor Peters) regarding diversity in the hospitality industry.
Your research paper will be evaluated according to the following:
❖ Appropriateness of introductory section and clarity of research question or thesis/hypothesis [10 points]
❖ Criticality of analysis or argument (innovative, logical, and persuasive presentation of ideas/viewpoint vs. recitation of facts) [20 points]
❖ Grammar (clarity, diction, spelling, sentence structure, etc.) [20 points]
❖ Relevance and breadth of literary evidence [15 points]
❖ Technical specifications: [25 points]
o A minimum od 10 pages, excluding figures, tables, appendices, and cover page
o APA style correctly used for in-text and reference list citations
o Cover page delineating paper title, student name, and submission date
o Double-spaced
o Headers and sub-headers as needed
o Inclusion of at least 20 citations
